So… There’s been some changes, and while there is still grey in the area, this is the new plan:
On September first I will be driving to Gainesville Georgia, checking in to the missions base, and pitching my tent for about three months. As far as missions go, we will be doing a lot of outreach and evangelizing in the community, and team exercises on and off base. After a short break for the holidays, the goal is to fly overseas to continue doing missions. Unfortunately I do not have an update for that quite yet.
So now that I got that out of the way, and you all know what is going on, there is something else that I would like to share just for because.
In the midst of a pandemic wether we have been directly affected or not, we’ve all seen the negative and meditated on it, and I just wanted to share some of the blessings the Lord has given to me that may seem simple but have been so amazing.
– I’m still alive
– I have a new nephew
– I get to watch the sunlight hit the trees every morning
– I am able to drink a perfectly temperatured glass of tap water every morning (the BEST)
– I look forward to a wave from the same neighbors every time I drive by
– I can look out the window every day and see the mountains stand
– The rice my family eats for diner is always divine
…its the little things. Take the time.
