As the past few months are coming to a close, I come with thanksgiving to the foot of the Lord, and much appreciation for my many supporters. I have seen so many people including myself and my team blessed beyond words by the hand of the Lord. I have seen people healed by the name of Jesus and hope implanted into the hearts of those that were once without any. Though it was not signs that me and my brothers and sisters had prayed for, it is a sign in itself that the Lord revealed himself to His people and moved to bring life and justice for what the enemy had tried to steal for evil. If you have read the last few posted entries, you will know that it has been time filled with miracles and salvation closer to nowhere other than the foot of the throne.

For the last month, I have journeyed from Central Asia to Romania (and crossed many borders in the process) to help a partnering ministry with their efforts to aid the displaced peoples of Ukraine, now scattered across Europe. I have joined them in their running kids programs, food/supply border runs, and everyday transportation of the families located in Cluj-Napoca where I am staying. Because of the severity of the immediate need, I have decided to stay in Cluj and partner alongside AJM instead of going into Egypt with the others on my team. There was a need, and I was able to help.

The reality of the situation broke my heart. Millions of people had/have been displaced and forced to leave their homes on a few hours notice, a large number of them returning to nothing but a pile of rubble; many of them knowing they will leave and never return again. Land mines spot the sides of highways, and the homes located in or around previously strategic battlegrounds are rigged to kill with booby-trapped washing machines and like appliances. Vehicles near war points left unattended have be wired with bombs, and for some cities the air raid sirens have begun to be the norm. The cemeteries are becoming a notoriously popular destination, and civilians have begun to help in efforts to dig enough graves fast enough; they crowd the graveyards and their cars crowd the sides of highways. I will spare you the grief of my proceeding on the matter, but for Ukrainians this is just their reality: the threat from Russia is a force not to be ignored, but to be fought. Some pro-Ukraine billboards have slogans such as, “They’re killing our children.”

As population surges in some cities and rapidly declines in others, many refugees are left starving because of such huge shift in supply and demand. That is where AJM has done their best to serve the Ukrainian people, one of their goals simply to provide food to the ones who are displaced and trying to survive while the supply chain (or the lack thereof) is broken. As I am currently typing, we are on a supply run into one of the red zones in regards to the war to help the most affected peoples with basic needs such as food and baby formula. One of the cities I was in last week was bombed between then and now – please pray that hope would enter the hearts of these people, and that the heart of God would be revealed to them and be known by them.

As I am preparing to return to Romania around the later half of may, I will need support. Prayer, encouragement, as well as financial support. I have put together a minimal budget and I am now currently looking at flights to re-embark across the Atlantic. Please pray fervently and consider supporting me financially as I go to help Ukraine; the need for Human Resources is urgent, and please pray as I continue to go forward.
