It has been a few weeks since I posted my last blog update / story about the ceremony I was able to be a part of with the rest of my team. I hope it touched your hearts as the experience touched mine. Recently I returned stateside and I have been enjoying my time back with my family.
The past few months I have come to fall in love with a wonderful body of believers in Ukraine, and I do not say it lightly. They truly have caught my heart. It brings me great joy to announce to you that Lord willing, I will be moving to Ukraine with a one way ticket in just one or two short months. HOW EXCITING!
As I said before, I am currently stateside, that being said I am not sure exactly how the conflict in Ukraine had proceeded in the past week or so. I do know however, that there is still great need and many who are being relentlessly pushed under the waves by this war. There are still many who don’t know weather they will wake up the next morning at 3:00 am with shattered windows, or if they will even wake up at all. Every moment could be the last.
Truth be told, I do not know if my friends will be alive when (Lord willing) I return. This, as well as the opportunity to continue to deliver food to those who have no opportunity due to the war, gives me much anticipation for my return. Given the economic conditions and the labor that my role would require, I am in need of monthly support as employment simply is not an option for where I will be going.
I consider many of you my friends and family, and again I humbly ask for your support through prayer and should you feel lead, through a monthly commitment (click the link below). I am moving in a matter of weeks, and it is of the highest honor to have this opportunity and be sent to serve the people of Ukraine in their time of trouble.
Will you hold the rope as I go?

Wow, Gabe, what mighty work the Lord is doing through you. The verse that comes to mind is that God is love, and there is no fear in love. Continue to love fiercely the people in Ukraine. My heart and prayers are with you.
