Just earlier this week my squad received the long awaited and highly anticipated news!
We will be flying to Costa Rica in the second week of January! I am SO EXCITED to begin our ministry over seas and cannot wait to see what the Lord has in store. The ministry I will be partnering with specifically is still unclear, but nonetheless I am ready to receive the mission. There are endless opportunities from slums outside the city, to evangelism on the streets, to teaching English or even going to one of the skate parks. We will be accessible to the Pacific Ocean, so sabbath days on the beach will be so much more than a blessing, but what I am most excited for is to witness the Holy Spirit move.
The last piece of news I have for you is that me and the men on my squad that composed the entirety of the two guys groups have combined into one! This means that the mens teams are no longer divided, and we will now be united as a single ministry team for the rest of the race. I can’t wait to grow further in community with this amazing group of men and continue doing missions with them!
If you have any more questions, please reach out to me as I would love to hear from you! Lastly, all I have for you is some photos from month number three, from haircuts to squad church days, Samaritans Purse work days, or just some good looking and silly team photos. Thank you for all the prayers and blessings, more stories from the journey are on the way!
